That's a long time...17 years?!? Nope, I believe that's 18 years.
Three, from our original group of 12, left because of
various and sundry reasons--two moved away and one was sick.
We refilled the vacated positions with sweet girls.
Our monthly project: Eat, play bunco, eat, open presents, eat,
drink, roll dice, eat, talk, and eat.
Yep, that about sums it up...
Each girl draws a month (January thru December)
out of a hat or bag or box (literally)
to determine what month she will be hosting the monthly bunco event of
eating, playing bunco, eating opening presents, eating,
drinking, rolling dice, eating, talking and eating.
It's fun. Bunco is a game of chance played with 12 girls, sitting
in a hostess' living room, around three tables--four girls at each table, rolling
three dice. The object of this fabulous little game is to
reach the # 21 before anyone else OR roll three sixes, called a bunco.
It's a really big deal when one of us rolls a bunco!
We generally scream very loudly and holler BUNCO!
Prizes are then given to the girls with the most buncos, most games,
least amount of games, etc...and a door prize is given, too...
