not so good.
The good, I've kept.
I have noticed an evolution of scary. Retail has evolved--or in my opinion--devolved, from warm, fluffy and good to grotesque, scary and not good...
I'm glad I have carefully packed and saved each and every piece I have loved...
I can't seem to find great anymore.
The Fitz and Floyd pieces came from a sweet friend who knew a sweet friend who could visit the F & F outlet in Germany...We practically got these pieces for FREE!
I have no idea where he came from.
My 'kiddos' have 'kiddos' of their own...BUT...these pics prove
we were certainly into Halloween...
The first picture is all about the pumpkin costume.
It was created by Mrs. Stanley, the children's baby sitter--
a very wonderful lady we all loved...
Beautiful Daughter wore the costume at the age of two, then Wonderful Son
wore it at the same age, three years later!
Mrs. Stanley also made the Indian costumes.
I seem to always want to display these beauties.
Now...Beautiful Daughter is 34 and Wonderful Son is 31...
Although, out here in the country, we NEVER have trick-or-treaters,
I continue to dress up the house for this fabulous time,
I continue to buy the candy to fill up the Halloween dishes
and I continue to put on my Halloween shirt...
It's a fabulous start to a wonderful season.
Happy Halloween to you and your family!
